FCT is a member of the BiodivERsA network, an ERA-NET project whose main goal is to build a sustainable dynamic platform to identify the most pressing strategic issues for biodiversity.

This initiative has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 642420.

Calls Transnationals

The Calls for transnational research projects is one of the main objectives of the ERA-NETs, as a mechanism for validation of the cooperative effort between the various funding agencies. BiodivERsA launched 10 Calls in Biodiversity, with FCT participating in 7 of these Calls.
