India-Portugal Technology Summit

The India-Portugal Technology Summit will take place from December 7 to 9. The event takes place online and will feature high-level participation, including the Science Ministers of Portugal and India, and will bring together representatives of academia and industry from both countries, enabling the creation of bilateral partnerships in science and technology, as well as the strengthening of existing networks in various areas of knowledge, including

  • Watertech,
  • Agritech,
  • Healthtech,
  • Energy,
  • Climate change,
  • Cleantech,
  • IT, ICT & Advanced technologies,
  • Space-Ocean Interactions.

During the 3 days of the Summit, besides the High Level Plenaries, thematic sessions, Tech Talks/Business Presentations will take place, and there will also be the opportunity to schedule B2B meetings. A virtual exhibition of exhibitors will also be inaugurated during the Summit where institutions from both countries will be able to present their areas of activity.

FCT invites the scientific community to attend and actively participate in the Summit, by registering in advance on the event's webpage.

The India-Portugal Summit is organized by the Government of the Republic of India through the Department of Science & Technology and the Confederation of Indian Industry. The Foundation for Science and Technology is the national institution responsible for coordinating the national participation in this Summit, in collaboration with the Innovation Agency, Portugal Space, and the AIR Centre.
