New Values for Studentships foreseen in FCT's Regulation of Studentships of Research

The research Studentships provided for in the FCT Research Studentships Regulations have new values. The Monthly Maintenance Allowance (SMM) was updated based on the current inflation rate, as determined by the State Budget Law for 2019.

With this update, the Studentships for PhDs will exceed 1,000 euros for the first time. The other Studentships also have their values revised. The new SMM values can be found on the FCT website.

The update applies retroactively from January 1, 2019. For grantees directly funded by FCT, the SMM update and retroactive payments will start to be paid between March and May 2019.
