FCT/Latin Union Scientific and Technical Translation Award in Portuguese

The award ceremony for the Scientific and Technical Translation Prize in Portuguese Language took place on September 26, at the Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa.
In this 20th edition, the award was given ex-aequo to the works "Da Arte Edificatoria", by Leon Battista Alberti, translated by Arnaldo do Espírito Santo, and "Consolação da Filosofia" by Boethius, translated by Luís M. G. Cerqueira, both published by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Education Service and Studentships), and also to the title "O percurso desde A Estrutura", by Thomas S. Kuhn, translated by Ana Sampaio and with the seal of Porto Editora. The Prize has a pecuniary value of 7,500 euros.
