CERN dedicated seminar at Science and Technology Week 2019

From November 24th to 30th Science and Technology Week is taking place, with numerous scientific institutions, universities, schools, and museums opening their doors to let in those who want to know more and have contact with experts from different fields of knowledge, and even make scientific observations and experiments.

The S&T Week program includes a seminar entitled "CERN opportunities - Industry, Knowledge Transfer, Advanced Training", which will take place at the Thalia Theatre in Lisbon on November 25 (Monday). The seminar will be attended by the Director-General of CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), Fabiola Gianotti; the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor; the President of FCT, Helena Pereira; and the President of the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP), Mário Pimenta. The event takes place from 2 pm to 5 pm and admission is free with prior registration.
