Traineeships for Associate Engineers at CERN, ESA, ESO and EMBL: applications now open

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has opened Calls for the allocation of 20 Studentships internships in four international scientific organizations: the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). Interested applicants can formalize applications until November 30, 2019 for CERN internships and until December 16, 2019 for ESA, ESO and EMBL internships.

The internships are intended for candidates with bachelor's or master's degrees - obtained less than 6 years ago - and PhDs - obtained less than 3 years ago - in scientific areas relevant to the scope of activity of the organizations. These training opportunities have a maximum duration of two years and are carried out under agreements entered into by FCT with CERN, ESA, ESO and EMBL.
